(This is one of the three articles I wrote after our trip to China in Dec. 2008.) North American is infamous for its high labour cost. As a sculptor, Gino has been constantly looking for ways to reduce his cost. The low offshore labour cost is certainly attractive. Last December, we embarked on a trip to China for searching an offshore foundry to cast Gino’s sculpture in bronze.
